50 Years Disney World - 2022 The Sigifamily Adventure

We joined the 50th anniversary fun at Disney World Orlando at the Epcot. The only park that wasn't sold out.

We took Space's Orange version, a journey to Mars or rather a indoor motion simulator ride. You will feel G-Forces of up to 2.5G. It's the first attraction to ever install easily-accessible motion sickness bags for riders. You come pretty close to the real feeling of weightlessness while on the ride. Another highlight is Test Track by Chevrolet. You can design a virtual concept car and put it to the test on the thrilling, high-octane attraction. You reach up to 65 miles per hour as you put your car through its paces.

And our classic rides: Gran Fiesta Tour – Starring The Three Caballeros, The American Adventure, Living with the Land, Soarin' Around the World, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Spaceship Earth & more Beacons of Magic. In Epcot the lights shine from within Spaceship Earth's reflective panels as stardust emerges to symbolize beacons of possibility and optimism.

Harmonious was the nighttime spectacular with Disney music, colorful images and fireworks. A 360-degree view into the worlds inspired by Moana, Aladdin, Coco, Brave, The Lion King, Mulan, The Princess and the Frog and other classic stories.

Castaway Cay - Disney Cruise Line

Castaway Cay is Disney's private island and reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line Guests on Bahamian and Caribbean (as our cruise) cruises.

First, we rented bikes and went to the Observation Tower. Cool bike trail! Afterwards, we enjoyed the day at the Castaway Family Beach: swimming, BBQ food, icecream, music, soccer, basketball and we took a ride on the 2 twisting water slides at Pelican Plunge.

Falmouth DCL Port Adventure - Greenwood Greathouse

Located about 15 miles from Montego Bay, this well-preserved Great House was built more than 200 years ago and is home to the finest collection of antique furniture in the Caribbean. During the well-known Christmas slave rebellion of 1831, hundreds of Great Houses were burned and destroyed. It is said however that because the Barret family treated their slaves well and educated them, the Greenwood Great House was spared.

Cozumel DCL Port Adventure - Chocolate, Tequila, Bees & Maya

First stop was at the Mayan Cacao Company, where we could uncover the secrets of the ancient Mayan civilization and learn how chocolate formed such a central role in their social und religious life. On the tour, we visited a real Mayan Hut and we could learn something about their traditions, their day to day life, clever gardening techniques and even try a freshly made tortilla topped with a popular regional sauce made of chocolate. After the Chocolate Tasting, we could go upstairs to the Margarita Tasting. 

Cruising along the coast to the Mayan Bee Sanctuary. We walked through the path surrounded by lush vegetation and sculptures evoking a rather mystical sense and knowledge of the Mayan culture. We experienced a Mayan purification ritual. Afterwards, we continued to the bee sanctuary. 

Back at the port, we strolled through the city of Cozumel.

Disney Cruise Line Fantasy ⚓️ 2022 by The Sigifamily

We've been the first time on the Disneycruise "Fantasy" under Covid-19 conditions. This time, it was also a Themed Cruise: May the Force Be with You! We sailed to a galaxy far, far away and we could experience the heroes, villains and rousing action of the legendary saga. The cruise started from Port Canaveral with stops in Cozumel, Falmouth, Castaway Cay. 

Highlight was the day-long Star Wars at Sea adventure!

ZRH - MIA 🇺🇸 The Miami Experience by The Sigifamily

To get into the USA, we were fully vaccinated and we had a negative PCR-Test! 

Lincoln Road is a world-famous shopping and dining experience in the heart of South Beach. It's just minutes from Ocean Drive and the beaches. Ocean Drive itself is one of the most popular areas in Miami with the Art-déco-Hotels. 

Bayside Marketplace is a festival marketplace in Downtown Miami with shopping, dining and entertainment. 

Next step Wynwood Walls. It's kind a like an outdoor museum that has brought the world's greatest artists working in the graffiti and street art genre to Miami.

Historic Underground 🔹 The Brewery Museum Plzeň

Located beneath Pilsen’s historic city centre stretch kilometers of passageways, cellars and water wells. The entrance is located in the same brewing home which houses the Brewery Museum. There you will see the history of pubs in the town of Plzeň, a malt shop, malt kiln and rollers, and also a laboratory and some beer curiosities.
