Staying at the beautiful Hotel Kronenhof, we enjoyed fantastic breakfasts and a memorable dinner at their highly-rated restaurant. We started our days with a climb up to the Munot Fortress, soaking in the incredible panoramic views of the city and the Rhine River—the perfect photo opportunity! To fuel up, we hopped between local coffee gems like station16, Café Noordlicht, and Fassbeiz, each offering a unique vibe. And, of course, no trip is complete without indulging in the local specialty: the famous Schaffhauserzungen from Reber! To burn off those delicious treats, we enjoyed scenic walks along the serene Rhine and got lost in the charming, painted streets of Schaffhausen's Old Town.
We took a day trip to the countryside to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Osterfingen Wine Festival and strolled through the idyllic vineyards, sampling local wines. For a dose of culture, we explored the fascinating collections at the Museum zu Allerheiligen.
